PELENG MC-2 COMPARISON MICROSCOPE
The microscope comes in different modifications
varying in magnification and completing accessories, and
is used for identification of objects in criminalistic
investigation (bullets, sleeves, securities, documents,
etc.).
The microscope provides:
- operation in reflected visible, UV, infrared and
transmitted visible radiation
- visual observation of images of examined objects
through the binocular microscope head or on the
screen of the colour monitor
- recording of images of examined objects on the
35mm film, "snapshot" recording on
POLAROID photographic materials (colour positive
80x80mm)
- recording of images by means of the video printer
or video recorder (not included in the set)
- recording and storage of images of examined
objects in computer memory
- overlapping or merging of images of objects put
on to the object tables of the left and right
channels in the microscope filed-of-view
- smooth travel of the separation line of merged
images all over the field
- measurement of linear dimensions between object
fragments
- six levels of free object travel against the
microscope objective lens
